Slow and Inaccurate

It took almost a month for the order to ship and then they shipped to the wrong address. I confirmed my shipping address 3 times via email and 2 times over the phone.

Baffled Slow and inconsistent Customer service. I emailed them several times just to get updates. Their response was quick but the answers with very vague. If an order is going the take this long the least they can do is communicate effectively and get the order right.

Now i have to do the leg work on my end to get the post office to reroute the glasses to my address. They do not stock most items. You'll have to wait until they get there orders. Mine was from over seas?

They are a popular brand, nothing fancy.

I won't use them again. It wasn't worth the savings to do it online with them and then wait.

Scamers

They accepted my money for a order and emailed me the next day saying that it was out of stock. Then instead of saying they would refund me they asked me to give them more money. It's not legit. I filed a mail fraud claim.

I just called to place a order with by far the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a service industry. I called to place a large order and was completely treated disrespectful . I asked for owners/ managers and would not be put thru. I asked for the woman's name and she said its irrelevant. This company is obviously a complete scam. I called back once again hoping to get someone else and was treated even worse by same woman who would not transfer me to another rep/ manager/ sup or even the executive office. She told me I was rude for asking her to hold while someone asked me a question. Im truly shocked this is how anyone does business. BTW this is the first time I have ever written a complaint.

I became a victim of these fraudulent miss leading scam artists advertising new sunglasses! I was taken in by their so called professional advertising on the web and the customer service recordings that mislead me to believe that this is a real company selling you new items! Only to find out that what I got was a used pair of sunglasses that smelled like cigarette smoke and scratches on the lens! Obviously these were used sunglasses bought from some online auction. The turnaround to have the glasses took 2 weeks before I was notified of it being shipped! The customer service representative was just some rude woman who accused me of swapping new glasses that they "claimed" to have sent me and I was trying to scam them and hung up on me! I cannot recommend this company and very disappointed...

Terrible Rude and scammers

Called to find out what size the glasses are the website has it at a 0. The lady answered the phone hello not a company name just hello. I asked her what size something was, she said order online and we will email you. I asked do you have it in stock same response and hung up. I don't even know how to go about writing this review. It honestly sounds like something out of a fairytale or some bizarre twisted story, but I asure this is no joke.

I was informed that my order could not be placed due to the fact that the remaining pair of glasses in the model I was looking for were cracked. Seeing as how I would really like to get the pair for my girlfriend, for Valentines Day, I contacted the company to see what was going on.

While I was ordering a white framed sunglasses, the company website had several other similar models but with different colored frames.

When I attempted to ask the lady on the phone who informed me she was the manager, if there is anything left in stock in the other similar models or different classifications under that model or whatever the industry calls them.

After asking the simple question and trying to clarify I was spoken to very condescendingly. At this point after it continued I had to say "what a terrible person you are". As you can imagine someone that is very rude and condescending with poor customer service skills really does not like hearing this or probably even believe it. After reading the above reviews it seems like many people have had the same problem, most likely many less than I've actually reported I'll complaint.

Our conversation ended with that she would not provide me with a similar model which they did in fact have which was what I was trying to question when she told me that I don't understand what models are in the first place. I was trying to draw an analogy to how cars are with different models and how their submodels. My attempt to make an example to try to find the information that I was looking for was responded with her consistent talking over me and continuing her condescending tone.

At this point the only bad thing I've done its a you've got to be *** kidding me. At this point the employee hung up. Because I do want these glasses for my girlfriend for Valentines Day, I called back starting the conversation by apologizing for my frustration in part in the poor communication we had. I told her I just do not appreciate being spoken to condescendingly. At this point she still told me that she would not issue me the Glasses that she found, and if it was not for me asking and trying to get through her condescending tone and bad attitude would have never been found.

I asked to speak to a business owner or a manager about what was going on and was hung up on. My calls we're not answered until like all the different division and spoke with a man that said he would review the conversation and get back to me. Verbatim, he told me that if it is an error on the employee's fault that he would simply fire them, however if I used vulgar language they would attempt to sue me.

I'm not sure about the laws but I'd like to hope that someone has the free speech and the rights to say you've got to be *** kidding me. Otherwise I should be able to sue for being spoken to condescendingly and how it depressed me and made me sad that I could not get the glasses for the woman I love. If either situation is how this world works then we are headed down a very scary path, however, after reading all these reviews I can clearly see that this is a history of how this business does business.

The resolution of the story is that I was not called back. If the owner of this business comes across as message or anyone that is considering doing business with this online company or company located in Brooklyn which is unclear, I would say in my opinion to reconsider your choice carefully.

Scam

This is a Scam and this is how it works in 5 easy steps.

1 You see glasses online and order and pay. They will immediately put a Purchase Authorization on your card which can last from 5 to 14 Days.

2 NOW starts the scam. There is a problem with the order, either not accepting your card due to their “Risk Management Department” advice, then they will ask you to send cash by direct transfer giro post etc. If you do this you have no comeback like a Credit Card Company would give. You are basically screwed and locked into buying from them, OR , If you argue the point they may agree to proceed with the purchase using your credit card.

3 Now they have a problem with the glasses and cannot ship them to you due to “inspection prior to shipping found a crack in the frame etc“. Select another pair they suggest. Probably they never had the pair you wanted in the first place.

4. As they already have your money/credit card most people will select another pair you may not real want. THIS IS THE TRICK!

5. OK now you must decide to cancel or accept another pair.

6. Try calling the customer help line. WELL! If you want to be hung up on, abused, rudeness and threatened then call this customer help line. Never in my life have I ever come across a person like this and still be in business.

My gut feeling is this company is a one man band, a woman, whose attitude to customers is appalling and whose business ethics are very questionable.

These are old glasses not new as shown in pics.i orderd pair of glasses and yes did not accept card payment and had to transfer cash.

Glass had half logo missing.i had to pay extra £23 to get glasses from custom aswel.

It has been a week and no reply to any emails from other side.

I think this person is a thief who steals people's sunglasses and sells on line.

The worst company ever

I purchased glasses the other day and they came back and said they were cracked and could not supply. The same story as many of the complaints here. I have never been treated by a customer service like this in my life. Its *** all the way. They hang up on you if you call back and do not give you time to ever discuss the issue. Deal with them at your own risk!!!!!

I should have read reviews before I put my card. Below is a email from them during USPS delivery.

I want to give you an update regarding the below matter. after this email was sent yesterday, we received a phone call from supposedly "my name in capital letter". he stated he had the package set-up for delivery for today. Actually Bill spoke to him & we had him on speaker. after he made that statement, I took over the conversation & questioned this person if you are "my name" why is it when I called about an hour ago you had no idea of any order or my company? he stated it was his brother who answered the phone & had no idea about the order. I asked what was his brothers name, he said its not my business & if there is anything else he can help me with & hung up. we have been trying to reach the customer all day my the phone# provided on the order & when calling, the calls are being declined. we called numerous times. We wanted to know why hasn’t the package yet been accepted as per the verbal conversation from yesterday? this leaves us to believe the supposedly "My name in capital letter", customer is lying. As you are aware all our phone calls are recorded. please proceed with court documents & investigate who is allegedly brother??? this all seems FRAUD & we need to take full force for punishment.

Worst customer service ever!

Worst place ever! I ordered a frame online and put a different shipping and billing address, which is very common for online orders. I was called shortly thereafter and was talked to with an extremely rude manner. The lady on the phone was talking to me as if I was trying to run a scam by putting a different shipping and billing address! The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Do not order from this place if you're life depending on it. Seriously! I can not believe there are actual companies out there that allow this kind of behavior from their employees. The worst experience I've ever had as a customer, hands down.

Poor service

I wrote to them an email, asking if particular model is available on stock to order. The answer on the next day was positive, so I wrote again asking for support to place the order - as the product was not listed on the website. Nothing...I wrote like 5 emails asking for support and none of them replied. Quite rude, they are just wasting the time of the clients. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, not sure if they had the product at all, but why are those emails with lies?

Threatened with subpoena for complaint

I am embarrassed to have been scammed by this company, and when I complained, saying I would place a negative review online, they replied saying "we will have our company attorney file a civil case suit with the courts and have you subpoena (sic) for slandering my company." etc. Meanwhile, I am out $75 and have a pair of glasses (returned after 2 months) that are essentially the same as they were when I mailed them in for repair. Their customer service representative was surly and rude when I phoned after a month to ask about their "10 day service." Beware! They claim "Customer Service with a Smile," which is a double falsehood -- poor customer service and no smiles.

The woman who answers the phone is a nasty ***. She is a shady character!!!!!!!! I called to make an order three days in a row and the same nasty woman answered!!!!!! Be careful......she is running a scam...she hung up on me three times...she told me that she wants nothing to do with me because I asked a professional question regarding glasses. She checks the phone numbers, she keeps monitoring who is calling.....why would a reputable business conduct themselves in this manner.......I hope this lady gets the Karma she deserves......she is a nasty ***!!!!!

Eyeglasses order

After I placed an order for a frame, 3 hours later I received an email saying the product ordered is discontinued. Call customer service and a NASTY lady stated "Why are you calling? "the company is closed". Then she hung up the phone on me without let me explain her the situation. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. Apparently, this company is not well organized! Advice to all shoppers, DO NOT purchase anything from this website http://www.eyewearorders.com. They made 2 charges on my credit card and one of them were not authorized by me. What a coincidence everybody who writes about this website complains about a nasty lady who picks up the phones. Conclusion, this company does not care about customer satisfaction.

Sunglasses Review

Absolute worst purchase and experience of my life. Terrible product my "Prada" sunglasses were used the case scratched and the arms on the glasses did not even match! Horrible costumer service took over a month to receive my fake sunglasses that I paid 360 Canadian dollars for and paid 30 for express shipping ... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent my sunglasses for repair, and paid $99.00 in advance for the repair. I finally got the glasses back about 2 months later. The new lenses don't fit the frame, there's is a gap on each side (check out the photo). I asked for a refund, they refused and tried to convince me that the repair wasn't really that bad. They have been nothing but rude, to the point of abrasive. I mentioned their own website copy about "Service with a Smile", "Quality is their #1 concern", they just ignored it. After about 20 emails, they offered me a discount of $25.00. I have no trust in this company, not to mention, I don't want new glasses. I just want my money back for a terrible repair job. Too bad I didn't see the online consumer complaints about this company before I sent my glasses there. Thoroughly unreliable and unprofessional company.
